Exposure Science & Research Laboratory

Benchmark Risk Group recently opened its state-of-the-art Exposure Science & Research Laboratory. Conveniently located near our office in Grand Rapids, Michigan, it is easily accessible from major interstates and the Gerald R. Ford International Airport. Our team has vast experience in designing and executing studies to evaluate exposures associated with various products and chemicals in occupational, environmental and residential settings. Retrospective Exposure Simulations

Retrospective exposures simulations are useful tools for evaluating exposure to various chemicals, products, and tasks associated with historical use scenarios.

Customizable Study Chamber

Study chamber dimensions, ventilation characteristics, and other factors may be customized based on study requirements. The facility has a liftgate and zero-threshold access to allow for the evaluation of large equipment.

Range of Agents

Benchmark Risk Group scientists have performed many field and simulation studies to assess exposure to chemical, biological, and physical agents. Our experience includes, but is not limited to, asbestos, diacetyl, talc, cosmetics, wollastonite, formaldehyde, VOCs, isocyanates, heavy metals, PAHs, BTEX, particulate matter, glyphosate, other pesticides, ethylene oxide, mold, noise, and radiation.

Laboratory-Controlled Conditions

A study conducted under laboratory-controlled conditions may provide useful information during research and development or final product testing, such as evaluating the impact of specific variables.
